Dear Parents and Students:
I want to recognize the effort that students and parents have put in to this semester’s work.
This Second semester has finished and I would like to reflect about:
Why Is It Good to Exercise?
Exercise helps your body become strong, healthy, and flexible. Regular exercise is the best way to make your muscles grow. It’s also a great way to feel good! There are many fun ways to get exercise.
Flexibility
Exercise can keep your body flexible, is less likely to get hurt.
Eye-hand coordination
Running, jumping, throwing and catching have been called the ABC”s of motion.
Balance
Become an expert climber! That will give you a good sense of balance, which comes in handy for all sports, including soccer and ballet.
Endurance
That means you can play for a long time without getting tired.
Strength
The more you use your muscles, the stronger you will get. Strong muscles can help you avoid injury.
Regular exercise and a good diet are stepping stones on the road to physical fitness.
Fit kids are healthier and happier, and they tend to become healthy adults. To encourage children to exercise, join them in a program of family biking or hiking.
“Family Fitness provides unique opportunities for developing closer relationships with your kids”
We hope the holiday season with family and friends brought you fine memories and that your children come back energized to give their best efforts.
Have a great vacation!!
See you in August,
Best wishes!!
Mr. Walter Herrera.
